Reissue of "Down In The Basement", the third album from the Swedish rock 'n' roll horror sensation The Dahmers, originally released in 2018. In a tornado of influences like garage punk, classic rock and 60's pop this band truly is a Frankensteins monster of music. This is a band who's going their own way with colorful contrasts and still keeping the main essence of what they are all about. With their catchy tunes that gets stuck to your brain like a leech The Dahmers sucks you in to their music and to a world filled with darkness. Their lyrics and aesthetics have a big inspiration from classic horror movies but you also find emotional exposures about frustration, solitude and alienation amongst other things in their songs. "Down In The Basement" collects eighteen catchy tracks with a raw & chilly essence, influenced by garage punk, classic rock and 60's pop. The tracks have been recorded during a period of 2016-2018 and holds some of the bands strongest tracks so far. The band has over the years risen to be one of the most popular party and garage acts out of Sweden, keeping the classic Swedish tradition of high quality rock and punk alive! The band comments: "The album's title alludes to the basement where we recorded many of our songs and which served as studio and songwriting studio. The whole album is a ride through all the contrasts that characterize The Dahmers. A little punk, rock 'n' roll, power pop, horror, ABBA choruses, sweat, energy and some emotional explosions here and there. Everything mixed into a colorful cocktail with horror rock."

Press Quotes

Creepiest Creep is an EP that balances it's horror influences against the full tilt boogie of rock 'n roll, and in my book that makes for a pretty irresistible combination.

The Dahmers, a punk band with horror rock tendencies, have a 4 song E.P. titled 'Creepiest Creep' coming out April 27th via Lovely Records. It is 4 high-energy tracks, and I wish it was actually more like 12 tracks; that's how good it is. They are able to

Once again, drenched in vintage horror aesthetics, The Dahmers' work conveys palpable energy and bits that draw from sixties garage punk's grit and rock 'n' roll's timelessness.

The spooky new single 'Night Crawler' off The Dahmers upcoming album is a haunting conglomerate of grungy garage punk and indie rock for headbangers and horror-film fanatics. The band livens up lo-fi with tension-heavy themes and spunky guitar lines, alon

...So, in conclusion, a great effort by this splendid band that shows some signs of development and still keeps up the winning concept from their LP without repeating themselves too much. 8/10

It has a great influence from RAMONES in its nastier and dirty moments, along with Rockabilly touches and tons of fun. This is what we can say about the Swedish Garage Rock band, THE DAHMERS, which is putting the door down with a kick, and playing a wild

Take the primitive energy of punk and mix it with Thin Lizzy guitars that strike like lightning. Add melodies that will stay in your head like a leech to your eye and lyrics that would make Dario Argento and George Romeros work sound like bedtime stories.

The EP Blood On My Hands is the latest release from the well- oiled machinery that is the Dahmers, and the band keeps going strong. The band is well educated both when it comes to performing live as well as writing songs, which is shown on the record.

The Dahmers are a Bromölla-based band that takes the primitive energy of punk, adds the devil-may-care giddiness of garage and mixes it all together, (...) we can see this becoming your soundtrack the next time you rent a van, grab some brews and hit the road with your best buds.
