Say you were unfortunate enough to be stuck at a subway station at 3am and some guy was taking a piss off the edge of the platform while two others guys vandalized an advert... Out of Philadelphia come three men with drunken angst, bad teeth, and hearts of fire. After six years of touring and recording with punk rock stalwarts Far From Finished and the Boils, Oscar Capps is back home bringing with him his trademark brutally honest punk rock n roll with Philadelphia's The LOT. As if resurrecting the dead, Oscar called on long time friends Henry and Pete Kelsey (C-Nile Youth) to provide the rhythm for the mayhem. As children, they used to live across the street from each other growing up, jamming in the Kelsey family basement, learning their instruments, now they mesh together as an inspiring blend of working class punk rock. Named for the aforementioned vacant bank parking lot which they then called home, this Lot offers the same sense of universal belonging, and irresponsibility that only youth tempered by inebriates can. "Therapy for drunks who can't afford therapy," as Oscar puts it; "the fact is that working sucks and music is one of the only things that helps make life tolerable." "That's why I needed to get out and start playing these songs..." because all work and no music makes for one depressed mail man. So come hang out and check out their always energetic, sometimes musically competent, never predictable live shows at a basement, bar, or club near you!
