Some 35 years after her death, the iconic Josephine Baker still fascinates with her story of a young and unknown black American performer who conquered Paris, then France, and then the European continent before taking on the world. The French adored Josephine and in the late 1950s she made an early concept album in stereo telling of her love story with Paris.
